In April 2018, Moon Ga-bi appeared on an MBC’s entertainment program, where she was interviewed alongside stylist and broadcaster Kim Woo-ri.
During the interview, Moon Ga-bi addressed misconceptions about her appearance, saying, “Because of my looks, I get misunderstood a lot. When I go to Thailand, people greet me in Thai and I have to tell them I don’t speak the language.”
Moon Ga-bi also responded openly to plastic surgery allegations. In particular, the model said, “I had double eyelid surgery. I don’t hide it. If someone asks, I tell them. I’m very honest about such things. People think I’ve done a lot of surgery, but I’ve only had my eyes done”.
When asked why she posts many bikini photos on social media, she explained, “I don’t post them for others to think ‘Oh, she’s pretty.’ I post them because I like how I look.”
According to the female model, she’s not affected by malicious comments. Even when people say she look like a transgender person, she only thinks that she may have a bit of an androgynous vibe.
Moon Ga-bi also revealed that she styles herself from head to toe. “I believe no one can present me better than I can. I love myself so much,” she said, showcasing her strong self-confidence and self-love.
